8 ways to respect yourself

How much do you value yourself? If not, take a minute and do something nice for yourself.

1. Make time. Taking time for yourself will refresh your mind. In fact, devoting five minutes to just closing your eyes and focusing your mind can help you feel better. However, it would be better if you could devote more time to focusing your thoughts on yourself and what you need to do.

 

2. Do something good for the body. It's easy to ignore the pain your body feels and forget to take care of yourself. Try soaking in hot salt water or asking someone to give you a hug. You can also try standing up and stretching.

 

3. Make yourself comfortable. For example, by calling friends or drinking hot tea, sleeping with a comfortable pillow and blanket, writing a diary, eating something you like, smelling aromatherapy oils such as vanilla, lavender, and others.

 

4. Go to another world. The trick is to read a book, watch a movie, or let the thoughts flow wherever it goes.

 

5. Do something silly. This will bring out the inner child in our personality and give a feeling of happiness. For example, playing with soap bubbles, making cakes, observing clouds and making up their shapes, and playing with pets or otopets.

 

6. Take a day off. Especially if you feel bored with your daily work. Take a day off and do whatever you want to do all day long. This is better than a day on the weekend.

 

7. Take a walk in the open. Sometimes we forget to pay attention to the world that unfolds around us. Observing nature will make us feel better and calmer. Take a walk in the park. Observe and look at the trees, grass, sky, then breathe.

 

8. Do something you've been wanting to do for a long time. Why put it off again? Hurry up and do it and you will feel better
